There are a couple of reasons you might want to relocate the top of your strut mounts.
• For additional camber gain from the rear suspension.
• To allow pulling the complete strut & upright further inboard to fit wider wheels under the stock body.
This modification requires cutting, grinding and drilling to the strut towers and upgrading to coilover springs, so it isn’t a bolt on modification. Also, pulling the suspension inboard will require shorter axles.
